vShare is one of the most popular of the apps that allows you to download paid apps and games for free. At one time it used to only be available through a jailbreak but you can now download it onto your iPhone or iPad without needing to do this. However, it isn’t going to be a walk in the park to download it, certainly nothing like downloading an app from iTunes. You can find the full instructions for downloading vShare, with or without a jailbreak, here.

vShare SSL Errors
While most people are finding it easy to use vShare, there are some problems that keep on cropping up. The first is an ssl error, that pops up when the download button is hit. The message will read something along the lines of “cannot connect to ssl vShare.apppvv.api” and there are three ways to get around it:
Method 1 :
Try this method first
- Shut down Safari completely
- Close down any open apps
- Wait for a minute and then try the steps in the link above again
Method 2 :
If that doesn’t work, try this:
- As above, shut down Safari and close down all open apps
- Power your iOS device off and leave it off for a couple of minutes
- Turn it back on and try the no jailbreak method again
Method 3 :
If that fails, you can try this:
- Download vShare Helper onto your PC
- Connect your device to your computer
- Use vShare Helper to download vShare onto your iOS device – full instructions in the above link
vShare Keeps Crashing :
One of the biggest issues vShare users face is a problem with crashing. There is a reason for this. Apple provides company owners with certificates so that they can put their own apps onto their employee’s mobile device without having to put it into the iOS app store. vShare uses expired certificates and, because of this, Apple regularly blocks them.
When an app opens, the very first thing that happens is that the certificate is in place – if it is and it is a genuine certificate and hasn’t expired, then the app will run. vShare apps crash simply because they make use of certificates that have expired and are invalid. There isn’t any way you can get around that particular issue but vShare is constantly renewing the certificates it makes use of.
How to Fix :
There is no actual fix for the crashing problem; all you can do, when vShare or an app crashes, is Delete vShare it and start again. And that means you will also have to reinstall all of the apps you downloaded through vShare as well. The best methods to use to reinstall vShare are the no-jailbreak method through Safari or using vShare Helper.
Note : Downloading paid apps and games for free is piracy so, if you don’t want to keep on suffering the crashing issue, you should purchase your game through the developer.
